WASTE MANAGEMENT

 

Cardboard recycling : Cintermex, concerned about  the conservation of the environment, began, as of 2002, the of recycling materials for the conservation of our resources by negotiating the supply and gathering of cardboard for recycling. With a yearly average of 54 tons of cardboard, we are avoiding the destruction of 17 trees for every ton recycled, which brings us to the preservation of approximately 714 trees per year. Also, every ton of recycled cardboard saves 28,000 lts. (7,396 gls.) of water. From 2002 and to date, Cintermex has been instrumental in saving 6,583 trees and 10,843, 056 lts. (2,864,432 gls.) of water.

Paper recycling. - Cintermex is aware of the importance of promoting a culture of reduction in the accumulation of trash by reusing and recycling a noble solid such as paper. This is why, starting with recent events, we have promoted its recycling. In doing this, we are no longer printing event programs, manuals or proceedings. Instead, the information is provided through electronic media.
