| CINTERMEX LIVES ITS ENVIRONMENTAL AUDITING PROCESS |

As part of Cintermex's commitment to work with actions focused on the conservation of the environment, the site began
its registration process in the National Voluntary Environmental Auditing Program. This audit was performed from the 21st through the 24th of June with the presence of the Chemist Alán Espinosa Beltrán, representative of the environmental auditing sub-office of the PROFEPA (Federal Environmental Protection Office), Ms. Ma Antonieta Sandoval Villarreal, Technical Manager and Auditor and Ms. Rocío Elena Sandoval Villarreal, specialist auditor. The areas under review during the audit were: surface soil and subsoil, risk and response to environmental emergencies, natural resources, air, noise, water and materials and hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. Present at the closing of the audit were Mr. Gonzalo Escamez General Director of Cintermex, Mr. Rubén Hernández, Director of Maintenance, Mr. Armando Espinosa, Director of Operations, as well as Ms. Doreyda Gonzalez, Quality coordinator and Carlos Salas, Maintenance Manager. The delivery of the report on the results of the audit is scheduled for towards the end of July. For Cintermex it is very important that we work in a safe and secure manner towards the environment, sparing no effort in verifying that the processes that have been in place over the years are providing effective results. |
